Limmud NY will be held at the Hilton Stamford Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Stamford, CT.
Limmud NY will not be providing buses from New York City this year as affordable and convenient options are available through public transportation.
Traveling by Train
The Hilton Stamford is located a few blocks (15 minute walking distance) from the Stamford Train Station. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service from the train station every 30 minutes from 7:00am – 10:00pm.
Metro North from New York City
From Grand Central Terminal (or any stop on the New Haven line), take Metro North New Haven line to Stamford Train Station. Travel time: Approximately 50 minutes from Grand Central Terminal.
Adult fares from NYC to Stamford are $10.75 during off-peak hours and $14.50 during peak hours. Discounts are available for children and seniors. Fares are significantly higher when tickets are bought on board the train.
Amtrak from Points North or South
Amtrak’s Northeast Regional and Acela Express service from Boston, MA to Washington, DC stop frequently in Stamford.
We recommend purchasing your tickets early, Amtrak ticket prices and availability change on a regular basis.
Traveling by Plane
If you are coming straight from La Guardia, JFK, or Westchester County airports check the Hilton Stamford website for turn-by-turn directions. You can also arrange for shuttle service by contacting Connecticut Limo.
Alternately, Metro-North offers instructions on how to get to Grand Central Terminal from each of the major NYC airports (then, follow the above instructions for Metro North – New Haven line).
Traveling by Car / Ride Share
We strongly encourage Limmud NY participants to carpool with others from your area. A ride-share board will be available leading up to the conference.
Turn-by-turn driving directions are available on the Hilton Stamford website. If you are using a GPS enter this address: 151 Greenwich Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. When you arrive, turn onto First Stamford Place and the hotel will be ahead.
Self-parking at the hotel is free for Limmud NY participants.
