Registration fees are per person and include room, snacks, programming, and conference materials for the entire weekend. Meals included are Friday dinner through Monday breakfast. On Friday and Monday, box lunches will be available for purchase directly from Kay Caterers.

Registration fees are due at time of registration and can be paid by credit card or check. You can also choose to pay in monthly installments by credit card leading up to the conference. All monthly payments must be completed before arrival at the conference.

Please note that this year we are only offering full-conference and Sunday commuter registration options. We are not offering a partial-conference registration package.

Do you want to be a Conference Maker?
Register for the Limmud NY Conference Maker volunteer development program and receive a Subsidized Double Occupancy or Triple Occupancy rate. Makers commit to a significant volunteer role with Limmud NY, either as a member of one of our conference planning teams, or by giving at least two hours of on-site volunteering each day at the conference (total of 8 hours). Unfortunately, we are unable to negotiate prices or offer discounts beyond those advertised – however, if the cost of the conference is still prohibitive, please give us a call at 212-908-2539 and we would be happy to discuss funding strategies.

Financial Aid
Our goal is to make Limmud NY affordable for anyone who would like to participate. Financial aid is available to anyone with financial need who does not fall into one of the discount categories above. If you are a full-time student, a young adult aged 21-29, or are a nuclear family attending with one or more children, please use the appropriate discount codes above. If you do not fit into one of those categories, and paying the full cost of your participation in Limmud NY is a hardship for you, you should apply for need-based financial aid.
Financial aid cannot be bundled or used in combination with any other promotions or discounts, however it may be applied to Conference Maker subsidized rates. In order to ensure that our limited financial aid budget can be used to support as many people as possible we only offer partial scholarships, and financial aid is only available to participants staying in double or triple rooms.
Please note that financial aid is specifically applied to registration costs and does not include additional expenses such as roll-away cots. Financial aid is only available to those who are participating in the full conference.
All financial aid recipients are required to spend at least 4 hours of the conference volunteering (2-3 shifts), or to commit to a pre-conference volunteer job. A member of the conference volunteer team will be in touch.

How do I apply?
You can apply for financial aid on the registration form. A $125 deposit is required to save your spot and to review your financial aid request, and it will be automatically added to your registration. If you decline the offer, your $125 deposit will be fully refunded. For more information, contact the Limmud NY office at 212-908-2539 or info@limmudny.org.

Participants offered financial aid have two weeks to accept or decline the offer. If the Limmud NY office does not hear from the participant within two weeks, the offer will be considered to have been declined, and the financial aid will be disbursed to another applicant.

Financial Aid Deadlines
Our financial aid budget is incredibly limited, and we encourage you to apply early to have the best chance of receiving a financial aid award. Financial Aid applications are accepted until November 30th. After December 1st, if there is money left in the financial aid budget, we will accept applications on a rolling basis. If you wait to submit your application until after December 1st, there is no guarantee that you will be awarded financial aid.

The Eric Hollander Memorial Scholarship Fund

“What a mensch” anyone who knew Eric Hollander would say of him. “What a ba’al chesed.” Eric’s untimely passing in March 2016 shook all who knew him, from many communities across New York.

Limmud NY, where Eric reveled in the opportunity to volunteer, and learn, and connect with Jews of all kinds, has established a scholarship in his memory. Our hope is that each year, one first-time Limmud NY participant who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference will receive a significantly discounted rate to enjoy the experience and participate in the community that Eric so cherished.

If you will be a first-time participant in 2017 and are interested in applying for the Eric Hollander Memorial Scholarship, please apply for financial aid on the conference registration form, and submit your $125 deposit. If your financial aid application meets the requirements for the scholarship, you will automatically be entered for the scholarship. One applicant will be awarded the scholarship, which will cover the entire registration fee, except for the $125 deposit. To be eligible, you must submit your financial aid application by November 30th.

If you are interested in contributing to the Eric Hollander Memorial Scholarship Fund, you may donate online or mail a check to the Limmud NY office. Please be sure to note that your donation is for the Eric Hollander Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Group Discounts

If you represent a community organization and would like to bring a delegation of 10 or more adults to the conference, please contact the office at 212-908-2539 or info@limmudny.org for information on a special rate.

Payment Plans

Limmud NY is happy to offer a monthly payment plan option for interested participants. This year, payment plan functionality is built into the registration system, and will be presented to you before you check out. If you have any questions, please call the Limmud NY office at 212-908-2539.

Cancellation Policy
Limmud NY has a strict cancellation / refund policy due to our contractual obligations to the conference venue, caterer, and other vendors.

After January 1 Non-refundable
Limmud NY does not make exceptions to this policy, even in the event of illness or inclement weather. Cancellations can ONLY be made by sending an email to info@limmudny.org or calling 212-908-2539. Refunds may take up to four weeks to be processed.
